This fresh food market on the waterfront is operated by a group of local producers, including a fishermen’s cooperative. Because the food is delivered directly from the fishing port, there are no transportation costs, and since it is sold directly from the producers without any intermediary distribution, you can enjoy fresh and safe seasonal ingredients.
We also recommend a stroll through Hagi Castle Town. The atmosphere of the castle town still remains deeply embedded in the streets, exemplified by samurai residences, earthen walls with summer oranges peeking through, sea cucumber walls, key bends, and more.
